- Clients are required to telephone Adrift the day prior. Adrift we then advise on weather conditions and confirm meeting time/places etc.
- Trip prices are based on a minimum of 2 persons.
- Trips require a minimum of 2 persons, except the WINTER group Tongariro Alpine Crossing trip which requires 4 persons, to operate. Individual bookings will compound to obtain minimum numbers required.
Tongariro Alpine Crossing - Winter Guided Group Price NZ$155pp
Price includes; Guide/s, Crampon & ice axe hire, return transport for National Park Village, Taupo or Turangi, trekking/wet weather gear usage and a post-trip refreshment.
Group winter crossings are a scheduled trip, departing daily. Accommodation pick-ups are available for Taupo (6am) and Turangi (7.30am). National Park Village meeting place is at the Adrift Base, 3 Waimarino-Tokaanu Rd at 7am.
Winter season will run from 1st Jun to 31st Oct or when snow & ice are on track.
Tongariro Alpine Crossing – Summer Guided Premium NZ$225pp
Price includes; Guide/s, Lunch, return transport from your accommodation in National Park Village or Whakapapa Village, Trekking/wet weather gear usage and a post-trip refreshment.
Return accommodation transfers for Taupo or Turangi are available - $75pp
Tongariro Alpine Crossing - Sunrise Guided Premium NZ$279pp
Price includes; Guide/s, Breakfast, return transport from Adrift National Park Base (3 Waimarino-Tokaanu Rd), and trekking/wet weather gear usage. Available in Summer only.
Ruapehu Crater Lake - Winter Guided NZ$225 pp -REDUCED TO $155pp
Price includes; Guide/s, Crampon & ice axe hire, return transport for National Park Village, Taupo or Turangi, trekking/wet weather gear usage and a post-trip refreshment.
Ruapehu Crater Lake is a scheduled trip departing daily. Accommodation picks are available for Taupo (6am) or Turangi (7.30am). National Park Village meeting place is at the Adrift Base, 3 Waimarino-Tokaanu Rd at 7am.

Half-Day Guided Summer/Winter Bush Tours NZ$175 pp OR 2 hour Guided Summer/Winter Bush Tours NZ$95 pp
Price includes; Guide/s and return transport from National Park Village or Whakapapa Village accommodation. Half-day trips are for 4 hours.
There are a selection of beautiful short walks (20 mins to 2 hrs to 4 hours), available in the Tongariro National Park to choose from and your guide will advise on the best walks to undertake on the day. These guided walks are designed for people who are short on time or would like a non-strenuous outing.
3-Day Guided Tongariro Northern Circuit NZ$850 pp
Price includes; Guide/s, Full catering, Return transport for National Park Village or Whakapapa Village, Cooking & camping equipment (excludes sleeping bags & backpacks), and Department of Conservation Hut passes.
Additional porters can be arranged so that you carry a daypack - $POA

General Gear Hire
Most trips include gear hire. Check above for price inclusions. Unless otherwise stated, discounted trips will not include gear hire but there will be a capped amount if you require many items.
- Trekking boots $15
- Waterproof trousers, waterproof jackets, warm first and second layer clothing $10 per item
- Gloves, sun hats, warm hats, day backpacks, socks, sunglasses $5 per item
