The Tongariro Alpine Crossing: Summer Trip 2019-01-13T23:28:52+00:00

Summer Premium Group – Tongariro Alpine Crossing

Are you ready?

We are! Our guides are personable, friendly, qualified and ready to guide you on one of the best 1-day walks in the world. Get the most out of this special area with our local knowledge and let us take care of the logistics. No need to rush to meet a bus, we’ll have a vehicle waiting at the end for when you finish. We’ll take care of the little things, you enjoy the hike.

Summer Premium Group trips include a tasty, energy-rich lunch, your guide (or guides), return transfers from our shop in National Park Village, and footwear and clothing hire.

Summer offers a majestic landscape of recent resultant volcanic activity. There is a vast array of colours and textures created from sulphur, aluminium, silica, and many other mineral deposits released from within the Earth’s Crust. In summer this track can get crowded and where possible, we take our clients away from the masses while making sure that the popular sights are still experienced.
